How does Rakuten Cash Back work?
When you shop through Rakuten at your favorite stores, those stores pay us a commission for sending you their way. We share that commission with you in the form of Cash Back, sent via check or PayPal.
When will I receive my Big Fat Check?
Payments are sent every three months, as long as your Cash Back balance is over $5.00. Our standard payment schedule is February 15, May 15, August 15, and November 15.
What should I do if my Cash Back is missing?
Most Cash Back is added to your account within 48 hours. If it has been longer than that, you can use our 'Missing Cash Back' form to submit your order details, and we will investigate it for you.
Can I use coupons along with Rakuten Cash Back?
Yes, you can use coupon codes found on the Rakuten site. However, using external coupons not listed on Rakuten may occasionally void your eligibility for Cash Back from that specific retailer.
How do returns affect my Cash Back balance?
If you return or cancel an order, the Cash Back earned from that purchase will be deducted from your account balance. Partial returns will result in a partial adjustment of the Cash Back amount.
Is there a fee to join Rakuten?
Membership is 100% free. We will never ask you for a subscription fee or membership dues to earn rewards while you shop.
